From City March to Continental Movement

SABAY PARADE begins as a bold march through Metro Manila — but its ambition reaches far beyond city limits. Our vision is to grow SABAY into Asia’s most culturally resonant Pride celebration: a continental beacon of love, unity, and visibility.

While cities like Taipei have paved the way for large-scale LGBTQIA+ celebrations, the Philippines offers something uniquely powerful — a culture grounded in joy, community, and the spirit of sabay: to move forward, together.

By 2030, we imagine:

• Millions marching — not only from Makati to BGC, but across bridges, islands, and generations
• A week-long cultural celebration filled with art, music, policy forums, drag summits, healing spaces, and youth zones
• Delegations and diasporas from across Southeast Asia and beyond joining in solidarity with the Philippines
• Recognition of SABAY as both a grassroots movement and a national asset — driving tourism, advocacy, and cultural pride

The future of SABAY is regional and relational — rooted in the stories, struggles, and joy of a people who continue to rise, together.

Our Long-Term Goal

To make the Philippines not only the loudest, but the most loving center of Pride in Asia. A celebration defined not by imitation, but by heart — proudly Filipino, proudly together.
